Well bottom dirt and gravel

Most window wells are filled with gravel for drainage purposes. This one has a layer of gravel over the back fill from construction. Some codes require gravel to the bottom of the foundation.

Well Bottom before starting

Discovery shows a layer of gravel over backfill. This well has already been painted white to increase the light in the well and the basement. This really works, and lightens up the basement!
